In the evening they split by levels — and somehow that’s when the best talks happen.
One upstairs, one downstairs. Like a house with a built-in voice link.

Upstairs: “Are you still there?”
Downstairs: “Yeah.”
Pause.
And then the real part starts: “You know what happened today…”

The tent does a simple thing: it doesn’t hide — it removes extra noise.
What’s left is just their voices and that shared “five more minutes”.

Downstairs, the essentials are always within reach: a blanket, water, a box with “important stuff”.
And yes — someone will always announce: “Don’t turn the light off, I’m thinking.”
Even though nobody asked for thinking right now.

If needed, the lower level becomes a full sleeping space.
Same structure. Just a different night mode.
