The upper level is not just for sleep.
It’s where kids read, hang out, delay bedtime by five minutes, hide “important” things, shine a flashlight into the tent, and whisper.
The lower level is an open zone for storage and play.
What usually lives there: boxes, crates, a toy “parking lot”, unfinished builds, and things that are “for later”.
When needed, the lower level can become a sleeping space.
